We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dynamic Tool Hire Manager to lead and grow our tool hire business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, customer service, and operations, with experience in the tool hire or construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Manage the day-to-day operations of the tool hire business, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

·        Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and grow the customer base.

·        Lead, motivate, and manage a team of staff, ensuring high performance and professional development.

·        Oversee stock management, including procurement, maintenance, and availability of tools and equipment.

·        Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

·        Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.

·        Monitor financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profit margins, and take necessary actions to achieve targets.

·        Handle customer queries and complaints, ensuring excellent service and problem resolution.

·        Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Requirements:

·        Proven experience in a management role within the tool hire, construction, or related industry.

·        Strong sales and business development skills.

·        Excellent leadership and people management abilities.

·        Good understanding of tool and equipment hire, including stock control and maintenance.

·        Commercially aware with the ability to drive revenue and profitability.

·        Strong customer service skills with a focus on relationship building.

·        Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the industry.

·        Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities.

·        IT literate, with experience using hire management systems (desirable).
